.) You are the only one they do nice things for.
.) They try to pull you into their mood instead of allowing space for yours.
.) They use your things or time without asking.
.) You notice they have poor coping strategies when they are stressed.
They may tend to rely on you to calm them.
.) You cannot tolerate being around them when they are upset, hungry, or tired. They fail to plan and make you pay for it.
.) They rarely try to meet your needs. They may butter you up but they do not add value to your life.
Tip: Identify 3 ways of what value added to your life would look like. Do they qualify?
.) They have a weak imagination. They tend to see things only one way.
.) Their stated intentions and the way they spend their time are consistently misaligned.
.) Their sense of humor, language, what they prioritize, or the people they admire offend you or drain you.
.) Or...You feel like you like EVERYTHING about them. Humans are package deals, no exceptions. Everyone has areas for growth.
